and the gardens between World Showcase and Future World are getting pretty...

I wanted to try KP again and can prove that it does experience down times.. I was "assigned" to Germany and after the first 2 mini missions the handset died so made the trek back to Italy (start point) where apparently the whole system had gone off line.. It was all restarted within 3 min so treked back to Germany.. After I finished there it gave me the option to do another mission so I choose China-

I liked the upgrades as I can now use my Cast ID to get a mission ticket and I love the option of doing more missions..

I did notice someone hadn't been so careful by Towers http://i157.photobucket.com/al...9597.jpg

and the thing that left the bad taste today.... If you are going to change the prices WAIT till you can change the menu sign...

I wanted a snack (cant afford to eat) and stopped in Norway. Apparently they raised all the prices (awhile ago according to their CMs..) and they havent changed their large menu board... (the individual items had a new mini sign with the new price) so while the school bread was still a decent value I would've preferred to pay 1.99 vs 2.49...

Don't they have one similar to that at the Studios?

>> and the gardens between World Showcase and Future World are getting pretty... <<

It's a shame they don't stay pretty year round anymore.

We have to discount ticket, and room rates to keep the numbers up, so why not gouge everybody with our ever increasing food prices. You're a class act WDW.

Thanks for the update -em. It's really sad when WDW CM's can't afford to eat where they work.
Does anybody else see something really wrong with this.

I'm not sure a ballpark vendor could afford to eat the food in a ballpark.

Not sure if that is fair criticism.

Evidently Henry Ford disagreed with you. He tought his employees should make enough money to afford the product they produced.

You might be surprised how much a vendor in a ballpark makes.

Yup. It's on the lawn outside of the Brown Derby. Mostly brooms, if I remember correctly.

Considering the cost of admission these days that is a pretty deal.

That's the point a ford employee can afford to buy the product, they don't have to. How much does an AP cost. You aren't seriously trying to compare that to the price of an automobile are you?

I have never gone to a resort and thought...wow, there is some cheap food. Food is expensive at ball games, concerts, amusement parks, etc. Why should Disney be different?

Disney should be different because they are Disney. I didn't say I wanted cheap food, how about reasonably priced food. What a stupid concept.

Have you been to an Armark lately? If you get a meal you are still looking at spending 5-7 bucks (plus drink) with *very* questionable quality depending on which one you go to...

They do have Subway in the parks Armarks, but the prices are a bit higher than normal Subways so you are still looking at 4-7 dollars depending on sub plus add a drink you come out no better than eating on stage...

The only thing that is significantly cheaper is the bottled soda but even thats now 1.40...

Plus going backstage to eat is not practical when in the park with non-cms...

I used to get kids meals but most places the kids meals are now 5-7 dollars... which would be tolerable if they were as filling as before. The chicken nugget meal if you got fries and fries for the sides used to be almost as much food as the adult meal.. Last time I ordered it it didnt even fill the big circle of the mickey plate...
