A couple of those walkways, especially the one near Big Thunder roundup, and on the east side of Main Street near Disney Showcase looked awfully narrow - only 2 or 3 bodies wide. Are they still doing fireworks on weekends? I can't imagine trying to walk out of the park on Main Street with some of the bottlenecks THAT narrow. But of course, in general, refurbs are good!

When I was there a week ago, they had a CM stationed at the Fantasyland end of the Big Thunder Trail sort of directing traffic, and helping people get into more narrow groups. There was room for two way traffic, but it was pretty tight. I'm not sure if two people in wheelchairs or ECVs could pass eachother in opposite directions back there. I don't think I've ever been on a path at DL that narrow before (excluding queues of course), but it still managed to work. The park wasn't terribly busy and it seemed fine, but I sure wouldn't want to see what it could get like in a larger crowd (especially if they switch the sides that the walls are on and re-open the ranch with only half the walkway open). I believe all the walls on Main Street are going to be coming down soon, as they want to have in park rehearsals for the new Celebrate! A Street Party before it opens at the end of the month (did the Disney naming folks fail all their punctuation classes?).

As to the walls in Big Thunder Trail...."squeek"....(got to squeek through like a mouse) "- )
