After many trips with the kids, I will be in Orlando for a business meeting and have a free day (36 hours actually). I'm trying to decide whether to make a solo trip. I'm happy to be on my own and not really worried about the usual worries (dining alone is fine, etc.), but am mostly wondering whether it's likely/possible to meet others who are soloing on that particular day. No interest in romance, hookups, etc., just someone to enjoy the place with! Any advice? Most of the travel-buddy style boards don't really seem like they're for me....I'm generally not interested in making this kind of connection, it's just a one-off, very Disney-specific thing. Advice?

Just saw this. Did you end up going? I went to Florida for a professional conference and ended up going solo a few days. I didn't try to meet up with any strangers. I did volunteer to take group photos for a lot of people though. I hope you did go, and have fun!
