I checked at the desk to see if they could check in, but they said that I had to be there, but they couldn't give me the keys since I wasn't staying in the room and there was general confusion for everybody. Once the folks in the other room showed up, they were given the keys without any problems, so I think that was the result of checking in online. And for what it's worth, we requested that the second room (the one with all the issues) was near our first room, and they managed to get it just a couple doors down. We were really impressed with that, especially since we had already checked in. So you might be able to request a room when you check in too. Basically, unless you have a super complicated situation, I don't think it will make any difference if you check in online or not. We found that you have to go to the front desk either way, and it is really fast either way, so it really just didn't matter. I think that there was a seperate line for people who had already checked in online (like FP), but in reality, there was never more than one family waiting at a time to get service. All the front desk folks that we ran into did an awesome job (and this was at the "not as good" All Star Sports), so I feel like it might almost be easier to just do it there. If you are concerned about something, just wait and check in when you get there, and it won't be an issue.
