I have the chance to do this again this year (only taking 1 child with me) but think I will pass.

In Fact we did balcony seating at Christmas just gone and they now have the seats so jam packed in you can't move!
This was not the case when we did it in 2003!
So we had much more room to move in Riverside seating.
My husband is tall so he preferred the extra legroom.

So next time I think we will select the riverside over the balcony!

    Have fun!

DH and I both had an obstructed view due to a pillar in the way, the desserts were yummy, but not as fabulous as the price would suggest. My boys both ended up purchasing churros from the stand next to the seating because they didn't like any of the desserts offered.

The one plus was knowing we had seats so we could go on rides up until very close to Fantasmic. Nice to do once, but definetly not something I need to spend that much money on again! Of course I thought that Fantasmic was a good, but I didn't fall in love with it like some obviously do, so I don't really feel like I need to make an extreme effort to see it again.

I think that if your going to spend the money on it, relax and enjoy it for what it is. You'll make the experience magical by having a great outlook on it. If you go with regrets on spending the money, that may overshadow your potential good time. It's a truly special thing that not many other people are able to do. I'm sure you'll have a great time!

I did learn that you want to check in while they are setting up the chairs. So if you see them putting them up I would go over and see if you can get your name put on the list for check in. We had front row seats but I really do believe that there is not a bad seat in the house at the riverside seating. The chairs were staggered so that everyone would have a great view. They had cookies, chocolate covered strawberrys and ricecrispy treats. There were sodas along with coffie and hot coco to drink and they also gave everyone a water. We loved it. We also got to stay in our seats after the show and view the fire works so that was a added bonus for us.

I hope you have a wonderful time!

One lady even stormed out of the balcony for awhile and then the whole family went on and on about how it ruined the night for her and them. It was not pleasant.

I hope you enjoy it.

is this the only thing they had for deserts? My brother (17 going to be 18) kept mentioning wanting to do the desert buffet last time we went so my mom wants to take him for his 18th birthday but if these are the only choices for deserts I think thats a pretty weak choice for the price they charge. =/

Do they allow you to stay in your seat to watch the fireworks on the balcony too? And do the fireworks always follow the Fantasmic show?
