One of the Disneyland executives came out on a raft before the performances and gave us a few behind the scenes tidbits. He told us the performance number of the show we were about to see and, I remember this, he told us that the dragon's fire breathing effect was the result of common everyday non-dairy coffee creamer powder, compressed air, and a spark or small flame. Poof...Fireball!!! The NEW dragon's fireball effect seems to be an improvement on the old one but I'm not sure how it's done now. I miss those passholder nights...sigh.
