There have been rumors for a while (strong ones recently) that we would be getting a special Halloween show, so this could very well be the year. And what fireworks are complete without Tink?

Probably the loss of the Gallery, more than anything, but it might be something else . . . .

After reading this nonsense about Tinkerbell, I've decided to skip Disney again this year. I just can't take all the character crap being stuck everywhere. Honestly, the place is becoming less and less appealing to me. OAN, I read in an article that 73 percent of TDL's attendance are female visitors, possibly due to the appeal of Disney characters among Japanese women. With such a reliance on one demographic the resort is in danger of declining attendance if and when this group gets tired of the place. Apparently there are signs that it is beginning to happen. It seems that Disney is purposely trying to cater to this demographic world-wide with the emphasis on character-based attraction additions and merchandise everywhere. As an adult male I've had enough and I'm wondering if Disney realizes how they are alienating some segments of their audience with their tactics. Sorry lesmis, I couldn't resist the temptation. I miss the Skyway.

I'm not saying that it couldn't be done, but it would most likely require a lot of work to be done. The Skyway station, on the other hand, could just have an elevator added to the side, with a 'tunnel' running to it, at ground level, along the edge of the backstage road between Frontierland and Fantasyland. If they did things right (including what they did when they took the Skyway out 15 years ago), they could probably get around having an elevator at all! Either way, it seems like it would be a lot easier (and cheaper) to use that building than to repurpose the Ariel place. Seeing how long it took them to install the Visa Rewards window at the Band of Main Street, they should probably get working on these changes pretty soon...
