Most of them come in September and their jobs ae assigned to them in the beginning of the summer. Once all the dust is settled and they all actually come down here and sign and start working, they will start to list positions. Once october hits you will have your option for full-time, part-time, and seasonal.

I don't think Halloween brings in that many extra people, but around the middle of November, people start showing up for Christmas. When the tourists show up, they need more CM's, and I'm pretty sure they don't have a bunch of extra ones lying around somewhere. You could probably sneak your way in with the new ones then, ands just hang around after the crowds go back home.

It started in mid-July after they had everyone for the summer. If you want to get a head start, you can interview now and tell them what you are interested in and they will call you when it pops up. Disney is very good with calling people back in a good time frame. Just make sure you ask for part-time and not seasonal. with part-time you only have to work 2 days per week. and personally, I would avoid outdoor foods and custodial. Oh and try to get a referral from a CM, that will help a lot.

When they start hiring people they are going to list everything that is available in the category's of full-time, part-time and seasonal. If you are interested in any of those positions, tell the operator and she will set up an interview for you for that position. When you go to casting, you will check in and fill out the application which is pretty long, before you turn it in you will have to watch a video on the history of the company and the perks of working there. Once you sit for your interview, they will ask you a couple of questions and then tell you what is available in the category you have selected (attractions, front-desk, custodial, ect.) Once you pick what you would like, they will conduct the background check, give you paper work, and sign you up for traditions, and you will be set to go. Don't be afraid to ask for something specific to see if they have it. For example, if you want attractions, you can ask if haunted mansion is available.

Believe me, I am aware. I live in daytona and have been trying to secure a second job to no avail which is one reason I am trying at WDw even though it is a 150 mile round trip drive. I am getting desperate.

I would love to stay here but in the fact I'm still on the black list my last leader put me on...- I don't see a future here that pays me more than 7 bucks an hour... (oh sorry 7.50) and uses my experience and skills in more than a basic job...

I am still applying both internally and externally- so who knows who'll want me..
