I have to say though I am sick of opening this page and there being NO new content. Only just recently I have started browsing Miceage's forums(and I notice a few familiar names there as well). They seem to have new posts and indeed, new threads all the time. What is so great about over there(and please don't say all those damned picture heavy threads - I don't want to see where someone's stupid stuffed dog has been or whatever)? Why do they get more posters who ACTUALLY post?

So I think if you're looking for more content, you might as well check in with Miceage more frequently and check back here once in a while for superior, more insightful posts (rare though the occasion may be).

Recent examples include Barboy2 who question's the recent direction DisneySea has been heading in, and Lindsay Cave who shared exciting news about the upcoming TDS 10th Anniversary. MiceChat does get more post but thats mainly down to that forum having a much bigger online pressence. It also doesn't hurt that its got its own resident troll. I agree completely that the conversation on here is much more insightful than on MiceChat where only a hand full of people have ever even visited the park.

Obviously the biggest costs are airfare and room, but we've often talked about ways to gain miles (through credit cards, for example), and rooms CAN be found on the cheap if needed (another idea is to use miles for your room as well). It's not "cheap" by any means, but you also don't necessarily have to drop thousands of dollars on a single trip if you play your cards right. That, PLUS once you get here you can play the "I'M A LOCAL!" game, and enjoy your visit even more by eating, shopping, and enjoying life as local folks do, for very little money per day. Of course, you'll still have to pay for your Disneyland tickets.
Originally Posted By Mr X ***and rooms CAN be found on the cheap if needed*** To elaborate (and I won't get into airfare since that's not my area of expertise), I recently found a room for a friend of a friend of a friend (yeah, that's literally true lol), and it was within an easy 15 minute bus ride to Tokyo Disney Resort as well as being just 2 minutes from a major train line into the heart of Tokyo...and his cost was around $68 per night (and that's including the currently HORRIBLE exchange rate). So even a 10 night stay would amount to less than $700. Add to that a free airfare (via credit card usage) and a careful budget, and you can enjoy 10 days in Japan for well under 2 grand anyway. Just sayin.

And yes, I agreee after a few days of reading some of the posts at Miceage this place has a much higher calibre of contributors. I guess I just wanted to hear more from all of you.
