My Australian family is coming and they are wondering if they should bring some cereal for their 3 year old daughter, who is a bit picky. I suggested they ship me a few boxes so I can bring them down with us (they will add some Vegemite and other treats from home), but it made me start thinking about the cereal in the lounge.

I did learn a few things on my own, Australian "Rice Bubbles" are much like our Rice Krispies, both made by Kellogs, both with the same box, but theirs don't have any high fructose corn syrup. I guess they're probably like the ones I've had in Canada, which are very nice.

Does anyone remember if there are Rice Krispies in the DLH lounge? I remember Cheerios and Fruit Loops, and maybe Raisin Bran.

Also for breakfast I remember bread or bagels to toast with jam, jelly, honey, peanut butter or butter (no vegemite), blueberry muffins, chocolate croissants, some kind of danishs, fresh fruit including cantaloupe, water melon and ???, and was there yogurt? Granola? Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, soda, juices (orange and grapefruit? is there apple?) and I can't think of anything else.

Hee hee, I think this is a funny topic, but I would truly appreciate the help. With little children coming so far from home, I am trying to help keep things as comfortable as possible for all. : )
