And of cores the 4 main paarks, just going through them makes (for me) all of the everyday stress just melt away.

But I understand what you are saying anyway. What I am really asking is what draws prospective guests to WDW per se and not some other destination like Sea World or some other "outside" reason like family, downtown Orlando Conventions or scouting for retire homes.

And for me it's usually in the parks, with drinks at the Rose & Crown or the Tune In Lounge, and enjoying the incredible shows like IllumiNations or Fantasmic! or Wishes and SpectroMagic. Four weeks and 3 days till my next visit - not that I'm counting . . .

We spend all of our anniversaries there. Beach Club is also nice, but we think the YC is the best resort at WDW. Once, we decided to stay at the Grand for a change, but after two nights we requested a move to the YC. We even have a special room there that we like and have always requested and stayed in.

The themed hotels are amazing, everyone is happy, the place is very clean and tidy and the weather is lovely. There is a great variety of shops and eateries to spend your money on a little happiness. The theme parks are truly the most amazing and magical places – where you seem to be so “thrilled†to be there and all your feelings are magnified 10x. You find yourself being dazzled by the slightest ordinary thing, for example, thinking things like wow, they put that little fence around the garden area, isn’t it cute ! Plus the child-like excitement you feel inside when you see the Disney characters, parade and fireworks. It has such appeal that when it’s time to leave and go home, there is such a sadness in your heart, like it’s breaking or a piece of it is being left behind. Left behind, until it “draws†you back to retrieve that piece of your heart and make it full again. That is what draws me to Walt Disney World.

Still a nice and fun place to visit though.

But for me, it's not as much of a mecca anymore. I still enjoy going to Disney parks, but now I have other vacation and travel interests as well.
