    03 Michael Jackson
    02 Bob Dylan
    01 The Beatles

All right the top five I can't argue with but again I'd need to see what the final tally would be.

However I have a big problem with three names missing from the list.

The Eagles-Really how do you leave off one of the most accomplished and best groups in music history off the list.

Creedence Clearwater Revival-Not as accomplished as the Eagles but still played nothing but great bluesy rock music. I had a chance to see John Fogerty a few years back, one of the best shows ever.

And who I think is the one person that should not have been left off and in fact I would put very high on the list.

Sam Cooke-Simply the best most powerful voice I ever heard. A Change Is Gonna Come gives me goosebumps and he's left off the list. That's a joke.

Also don't see John Mellencamp, which isn't AS egregious, but I'd put him over several names I do see. I'd put Bonnie Raitt in there too.

Agree 100% Bonnie is so under-rated all the time!

But I certainly don't get Cheap Trick over Credence fercryinoutloud. And Kiss? Brilliant marketers, and I suppose you have to give someone who has lasted so long some sort of credit. They were just never, you know, very good.
