We know it's going to be a little bit crowded, but since we're leaving the next day we should be able to endure the claustrophobia one last day :)

What do you think about the Biergarten in the German pavilion at EPCOT? Many of our Christmas traditions come from Germany, so the restaurant has a bit of a built in Christmas feel. They also have huge tables and generally seat different parties together (like in Germany) so your entire party will fit at one table. Or for the "Christmas Story" ambiance what about 9 Dragons in the China pavilion?

I'm not trying to steer you away from Cindy's, but I haven't eaten there since it was "King Stephen's" years before it became a character venue. So I can't speak to it's quality or value (I've read mixed reviews). I also know it is difficult to get a seating even during slow times of year.

    Have fun!

My mother is in a bit of a tizzy not being able to cook Christmas Dinner for her grandchildren, so I think we'll have to stay to somewhere with a more traditional fair for her sake. Though I am hoping to get into 9 Dragons while we're there.

Since it will be our last day, we're hoping to end the trip in a big way with a Character dinner. I'm guessing most of them will be serving traditional Christmas fair (Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Stuffing, ...) but I'd like to hear people's experiences with holiday meals at WDW.

That's the only place we've done character dining on a holiday so I don't know what other places may offer on Christmas. The places with American food are probably your best bet for traditional Christmas dinner offerings. That is to say, places like Ohana with its Polynesian food are less likely to have turkey with all the fixings than Chef Mickeys (not sure if they have a holiday buffet or not).

<--- no help at all :)

    1900 Park Fare
    Cinderella's Royal Table
    Garden Grill
    Chef Mickey's
    Liberty Tavern
    Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
Boatwright's Dining Hall (we're staying at French Quarter)

Thanks again for all your help!
