I think each year it becomes more difficult to find someone who really has the star power. Guy is certainly the exception. And Aaron is slowly becoming a favorite (I love a lot of his recipes).

My favs so far: Jeffrey and Jamika

Guy is definitely the best one that has come from this show. I don't even ever remember seeing the winner that was the backyard bistro on a show.

Adam Gurtler (sp.) had a ton more personality, and it shows since Food Network gave him is own prime time show (kind of a Dirty Jobs of food). Aaron's show, even though it has a 2nd season, has been relegated to Sunday afternoons for 1st run shows.

I do agree, though that Jeffery and Jamika have the right personalities. That, though, may change in the coming weeks.

I did like the gal that kept telling everyone over and over that she just got out of culinary school. Thought that the dishes she made were fresh and something that I was interested in recreating.

This is also our 2nd season watching :) Aaron's new show is getting better, he's more comfortable with the camera. I don't seek his show out but I do watch it if I run across it. Adam's show is kind of a kick to watch :)

"Bug-eyed" healthy cooking girl. Her eyes really bother me when she pops them out into your face.

I think the judges really like Southern Korean Girl but I can't get past her behavior in the first episode.

The Gay Guy annoys me. As does Teddy.

<--Very particular about her TV chefs.

We also watch Top Chef but I kind of like this one better because there seems (at least in past episodes) to be less back stabbing.
