Sure, there will be lots of tempting things, but you can try a little of this or that - and then, you can make the plan that when you hit a particular milestone, you'll come back and be able to enjoy the place again. That way, you'll still be able to enjoy a nice dinner without being completely irresponsible. The lounge is nice as well, btw, and would be a good middle ground, where you can enjoy the atmosphere and some of the feeling without having to spend too much. But then, I really like the kitchen counter seats as well. /cs

If they're available, they'll reserve them for you. There are basically eight seats. Food is picked up by the runners in the middle, and there are four seats on either side. On the left side of middle, the two left-most seats look out over the salad and appetizers/sides area. The two right seats look out over the appetizers/sides and the non-red-meat entrees area. Soup and cheese-plate-organizing are on that side as well. On the right side of middle, the two left-most seats look out over the red-meat entrees area, and you get a decent glimpse of the dessert making. (That's where we sat last time. The two right-most seats are right next to where the desserts are picked up by the runners.
