About 1-2 hours ahead of time (maybe earlier) they rope off the front of the castle, and people start sitting on the ground. We prefer sitting at the hub behind the Partners statue. They have some benches lined up there.

While Main Street gives you the full inclusive effect, I prefer watching from the Fantasmic area.

There are some in the Fantasmic area, Small World area, and Main Street.

The map you get during Christmas time will have little snowflakes indicating the areas where it will snow. And if you have any questions, ask a cast member :)

There are a couple of smaller sections in that area, with walkways roped off. If you can be near the front of the rope, you won't have people coming up in front of you.

Some of the Fireworks are setup this way. The large sky ones are just to the left of the castle. I always suggest trying to be more on the tomorrowland side to see these better.
