Most kids are still out of school and even though the 2nd and 3rd might be a little less busy it is reasonable to expect very large crowds on those days, too. It's a fun time of year to be there but there will be lots of other Guests enjoying the Resort with you!

    We checked into the Grand New Years day 2 years ago. It wasn't to crowded, although it did rain 2 of the 3 days we were there & that helped with the crowds. Also the Rose Bowl brings in more people & many schools are out until 1/7, so just be prepared.

    Yeah-speaking of crows-watch out for those suckers! I was hit 3 times by those nasty birds on our last visit in November!

    Crows!! I was there in November and didn't see any birds inside the park at all (except the ducks in RoA) which I thought was really odd, but walking out to Harbor we saw crows in the trees above the shuttle area!! omg there were hundreds!!

    My Christmas wish for Disneyland? Abolish FastPass (and FasTrak for costumes, for that matter), and fully open all queues. I think I'll post a thread about this . . . .

    It's a blast. Sure there are tons of people but I have never once seen tempers flaring by midnight. NEVER. Everyone got along and had a great evening ringing in the New Year together. Amazing time to be at Disneyland.
