I have a dream book and always look up my dreams. So far it's been pretty spot on in explaining them to me. I just thought this would be an interesting thread.

Last night however, I didn't dream.
(or I don't remember it at all)figures. lol

    Stress dreams....you know I love 'em. :(

I don't remember my dreams from last night. I think a lot of times my dreams are so goofy and just bits and pieces of thoughts, that they are hard to describe.

    Anyone else have a dream?

I admit, I've had this dream many times over the years, but this one was more vivid.

Matt's 25th b-day is today, he has autism and has not spoken since he was 3.

In the dream, he was repeating everything I said, verbatim, back to me. But, not saying anything on his own.

I'm wondering, if I hadn't woke up, if I was going to start yelling at him for being annoying. lol

The book I was reading, before falling asleep last night is called "Against Medical Advice", by James Patterson and Hal Friedman. (I think...) It's about a boy w/Tourette's Syndrome, which one of my son's has...

In the book the boy was repeating things he just heard over and over again...so I'm finding a pattern here...

We LPers are having dreams about stuff we read b4 falling asleep!

When I have those dreams I after awhile realize it's a dream but I definately don't want to wake up, I just want to enjoy being with him. I haven't had one of those dreams in quite awhile, but look forward to one soon.

I, still, occasionally have dreams about my Dad, who passed away in 1979. He was 50, and in my dreams he's still the same age or younger, but my Mom is old. (Well, the age she is now, she'd be mad I'm calling her old, but she's 81.)

In the dreams, we're always mad at him for sneaking off and not telling us where he was...like he has another wife somewhere now, and she's younger like he still is...

Like you said, after a while I realize it's a dream, b/c it's so wacky, but I want to stay asleep for a bit to see him again.

I think maybe Walter Elias is on to something here...:)

LS, can you look these up in your book? :)

A lady I used to work with had a dream book. She'd get a number from the book, that pertained to what subject her dream was about and play the lottery. She won a lot of $$$$, too.

(But, I think she also spent a lot!)

I know alot of people have reocurring dreams that are premonitions of what is to come. They are abstract dreams and some are just bits and peices, but still can fortell of things comming. I know its off the subject and all, but we are made of energy and energy never dies, it just switches to a form we dont understand yet. Soooooo....I believe that when we are asleep that our brains are open to recieveing that energy moreso than when we are awake. Ohhh never mind, I'm gonna get too deep here with this stuff. LOL

    2. I was the U.S. ambassador to Israel (?!?) and I was debating whether to send a congratulatory e-mail to Hillary Clinton on her appointment as Secretary of State. (I've got to stop falling asleep with the news on.)

    3. I was driving a car (I don't own a car, but never mind) and saw Spiderman riding on a parade float. I did something crazy to get his attention, and he came down and got in the passenger seat. He said he needed to go someplace and I gave him a lift, while he relaxed and took off his mask. When we got to his destination (I think it was an elementary school where some crime was due to happen), there were some friends of his waiting. One of them was a young woman who was berating him because he'd asked somebody else to a school dance. I think she tried to carjack us, but I'm not sure.
