LP mini-meets are few and far between. Every year we anxiously await what new or different LP'er will host a mini-meet at our annual get-together. There is one meet, however, that makes the Tiki Gods smile with happiness. A meet where you can tell all of your friends that you got lei'd. It must be fate that Tangaroa gave birth to all the sea creatures - because without this awesome Tiki God, this LPer would never have been able to stretch her kind tentacles all over the pages of LP and welcome those of us who were at once too shy to become fully involved in the discussions. Award for not only stopping his smoking habit, but for encouraging others to do the same without preaching. For being so honest and up front about his life now and his past. He's the backbone of LP, The one who is *always* on and always ready, willing and able to entertain others and spread laughter throughout the boards. Even if the joke is at his own expense. He spares nothing to make others happy. He's been our ghost tour guide, our retro sit-com educator, our lacky and our heartthrob. He's goofy, he's sensitive, he's caring, he's not, he's got it all. -- TALL Disney Guy Mrs Potts award. For always providing support, encouragement and well-wishes over in the community section. -- Mary Poppins Pieces of Eight Award. To a good mom/sister/friend/LPer. Her posts about health are heartfelt and she has spurred other LPers to get on her bandwagon. She always has an encouraging word for others who are hurting or need a hug. She didn't know anyone yet jumped in to piece together not one but two LP Scrap Swaps. -- 999Haunts Plane Crazy Award. For flying to Disneyland almost every month for a year. Although she lives in Seattle, she can NOT get enough coffee. Or shopping. Our Ilvdland is a Disney fan for the ages and can’t even pass up a Billy Hill show. -- Ilvdland Pongo award. For the first time, one LPer was nominated for the exact same award by two different LPers, so it must be very fitting! This LPer just had his sixth child and we think he may hit 101 before he is done! And he loves them all dearly.
