The first one is where she explains how she gets the handicap pass (Guest Assistance Card) for her son. She proceeds to have her son show up on camera, and then explains to the Internetz how he "didn't meet all the markers for autism, but the Doctor felt there was maybe something there" and how he "is a rock star and does not do lines" and blah, blah, blah. End result.... whenever she goes to Disney World she gets the handicap card and goes through the exit or through Fastpass! Voila! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...e=relmfu Okay, fine, there's some issues there, but whatever. But then she explains how she "never gets front of the line treatment and we never cut to the front of the line, and I would never accept that as an amenity, however what it does do is allow us to gain entrance to rides via the Fastpass line without a Fastpass, and it doesn't matter if the Fastpasses are sold out for that day... our card allows us to hop on the Fastpass line at any time". She goes on and on about how she isn't cutting or impacting anyone else, she's just getting easy access to any ride via Fastpass or the exit whenever she wants. Uh, lady, you actually are cutting in line. Repeatedly. Am I nuts, or is this lady completely delusional? She's cutting in line. There's only so many seats per day on Space Mountain and when she takes her family in through Fastpass at her whim she's taking seats away from people waiting in Standby, or those who planned their day around the Fastpass ticket they ran to get first thing in the morning. And then there's a second video she posted two days later, where she complains about the fact that... wait for it... Disney World won't let her husband get the adult dining plan for the kids prices because he got lapband surgery and can't eat a lot! She complained to managers and supervisors on repeated phone calls, but they are making him pay the adult price on the dining plan and she's completely ticked off. I am not making this up, watch for yourself... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...e=relmfu Only in America in 2012 could this be a legit concern and complaint with a theme park. But please, someone out there, please restore my faith in American society and tell me that this lady is a nut job with bizarre expectations about how to get through life! We aren't really that far over the cliff where this type of expectation and attitude is now normal, is it?!? Please tell me I'm not alone here. Please?

I've also found my appetite much reduced as I've gotten older (I'm now 60) and I also have a medical condition that has reduced appetite as a common side effect. I've made reservations at 'Ohana for our trip to WDW in a couple of weeks because I love the setting, the atmosphere, and I think the food is quite good. But I KNOW there is no way I will come close to getting my money's worth. When the skewers come around I'll maybe have one small piece of steak and a couple of shrimp and nothing else. I wish they would offer an option of one serving only from each skewer in addition to the present "all-you-care-to eat".

Lapband Daddy could order the steak or chicken dinner, eat half of it, and then take the other half home to put in the mini-fridge in the DVC to have the next day or feed the kids with or what have you. Why is it Disney's responsibility to tailor a discounted dining plan to a guy who had elective surgery to solve a problem he created for himself? She seems to place a lot of blame for things at the feet of others, in this case a private company operating a theme park resort and timeshare gig. Maybe it was just the blue nail polish that put me off?

If she did, she'd likely find that buying the dining plan at face value rarely leads to saving any money. If they got it as part of a vacation package deal, it could be worth it, but the add-on is very difficult to justify for most vacationers. She sounds like a kook, so I'm not going to think about it too much. Clearly she didn't.

We are staying on cash since we've spent all of our points for the year purchasing two staterooms on the Disney Cruise. I probably wouldn't want an Annual Pass anyway. Next year we plan to go to DL to check out the new DCA!!
