So I had to start this and I apologize if it has been done before but what is the most embarrassing or funny situation that you have been in at the park. I will be brave and start it off. So last summer we did a quick 2 day trip to the parks. We get there bright and early the first day with our children then 5, 3 and 10 months. So we asked the kids what ride they wanted to go on first and over and over again they said POTC. So although we were a bit worried about their reaction to the dark and all the loud noises, we decided that Pirates would be the first ride of the day. So there we are sitting on the boat, enjoying the sounds of crickets and banjo when my 3 year old started getting a little nervous. Well by the time we went down the second drop, he lost it and was really scared, to the point that he was shaking. At this point I feel terrible. We have become one of those parents that drag their kids on a ride they don't want to go on. If he got too scared, he would soon be crying so loud it would ruin it for everyone else. Well wanting to calm him down and be the hero, I put him in my lap and started to whisper to him that everything was going to be ok and that it was all pretend. Well in the midst of my comforting words I start to feel something wet and warm in my lap. Now remember that this was the first ride of the day and OF COURSE we hadn't brought a change of clothes from the hotel. So being afraid of the response I would get I ask my son, "Did you just pee on me?" To which his reply was "I'm sorry Daddy. I had to go and I didn't know where to go." So although I could have been really upset, I wasn't because of how cute his response was and the fact that I was a TERRIBLE parent for bringing my child on something that literally scared the pee out of him. Talk about Karma. The funny thing was that after he peed all over me, he was fine. In fact, he wanted to go back on it and we did several times. We even brought him on The Haunted Mansion and although he was a little nervous, I refused to set him in my lap. So this year he keeps telling me that he wants to go back on Pirates but he promises me the only wetness I will feel is from the splashing when going down the drops. So, let's hear it. What are your stories, now that I have shared mine. Oh yeah, by the way, would you have gone back to the hotel considering it was the first ride of the day or would you have kept going?

Also, the guy who was checking out the sizes at the urinal was creepy too. Here's hoping to less urine and potty related stories in thread. Not stuff I'd want to relive. Not my idea of a Disney Day.

Anyway, we were standing in line for Space Mountain once, and I accidntally put my arm around some other "lady" thinking it was my wife. I was embrassed and so was she. To this day I've never understood why she didn't draw away from me, especially since in one smooth motion I slipped my hand right into her back pocket!!! *blush*

Mr. Alice and I do something fun and different each time for the camera at the drop. We've had shots ruined by kids putting up their hands and blotting out our faces and in the past, a girlfriend of mine and I got to ride a second time on a line pass because someone flashed their "assets" or a "finger" or something like that. Anyway, one trip down we decided to do "attacker and scared"... Mr. Alice was sitting in front of me (to catch the water and keep me dry, dontcha know... ;-) and he was going to do his best terrified look while I looked "evil" at the camera while - gently - wrapping my fingers around his throat. So, we camp it up - get the shot - exit the ride and there it is "Your Photo Was Washed Away." Well, I'm incredulous... and ask the lady at the photo booth for line passes because "some idiot ruined our photo." Of course, she reviewed it and came back with a "look"... "It was you." Apparently, choking your logmate isn't good Disney Behavior. Heh heh heh... DEEPLY humbled and apologetic... I asked her - sweetly and quietly - for a second chance. She gave us the pass.

She went above and beyond the CM code of exceeding guests' expectations. JSkellington, reference our dear crazycroc's earlier comment to you: <<Not my idea of a Disney Day.>> The POTC accident story was kind of too earthy for his sensibilities, so please excuse him and check out where his tender feelings lie in the "Inappropriate Things We Do At DL" thread under DL General. That will give you a glimpse into his sheltered world and why wet pants would give him the jibblies... Back to you, DVC_dad, reference your earlier mentioned smooth move into the back pocket: LOL! I'm sure that's why the romance is hot and heavy in your house (just count those adorable chitlin's of yours!) xoxo
