If you had the least expensive appetizer, entree and dessert, it costs just under $40.00 w/o tip.

    That is the lunch menu
BB is the restaurant that is in the Pirates building.
The french market has the chowder bowl -
So does the Royal St Veranda and in DCA it's at the Pacific Wharf Cafe

But the reality is, I am not going to travel 6000 miles to eat at Denny's outside of the resort. The BB to me is as much as a part of the experience as the fireworks or the Haunted Mansion.

I totally agree. Dining while on vacation is just as important as the vacation itself. I can go to Denny's any old time, but the Blue Bayou is special. Each restaurant in the park holds different memories for me and my family, and that's what vacation is about, making memories.

But you have the options at Cheesecake to get a sandwich or big salad. At the BB the menu is limited and all the entrees are $25 and over - Adv. around the $30 mark.

Everytime I think I want to go to the BB - I look at the menu and get a sickening feel in my stomach. And decide to go somewhere else.

Ours had to be parked outside so be sure you don't leave personal things in it or they just might not be there when you return.

I guess to each his own. That is quite a lot for a breakfast ($35). It must of been a 4 or 5 star hotel. I live near San Francisco and know expensive restaurants and $35 is on the high mark.

I understand about paying what the market will bear. And that if DL can charge those prices at the Blue Bayou and are still busy...Well, good for them (I guess).

But why does the check-in process have to be so caotic? Can't they figure a way where its a little more cival and not so cattle carish?
