And visually this just seems to be another one of those generic-fantasy-world-CGI films. I guess that's the norm now, but it does nothing to draw me in

Seriously, Disney? She's more the Alice type. In fact, a younger Jolie would have made the perfect Aurora. But not Elle Fanning. Anyone but her.

Gads. This has the failure stench of Oz G&P all over it.

ORWEN: I liked the trailer. It has a lot of atmosphere. I'm sure it'll be a hit. A lot of people I know are looking forward to seeing this one!

Isn't that what those dreadful Anne Liebowitz photos are for? I agree with you that I just don't see the need for this movie. When will Hollywood learn to put something fresh out there?

    That's Cinderella.

The Sleeping Beauty, or La Belle au bois Dormant, was first published by Charles Perrault, then later tweaked by the Grimm Brothers in Dornroeschen.

So one could claim it's both French and German, but not Russian.

ORWEN: At Epcot you always find Princess Aurora in France--also Belle is there. Sometimes Cinderella even pops up there.
