    We just found out that Wyatt is alergic to eggs. The down side to this is he loves eggs and I also love to bake. So my question is, does anyone out there have any good egg-less cake, cookies, or other baked goods recipes they'd like to share?

    Fruity FlapJacks

    Makes 16

    4 Tablespoons Golden Syrup
    200grams brown sugar
    250grams butter
    350grams porrige Oats
    150grams mixed dried fruit
    optional: 3 pieces of stem ginger, finely chopped

    Oven 300F (150c or gas mark 2)
    butter pan 20x30cm

    put syrup,sugar and butter in a saucepan. Place on medium heat until butter meted and all bubbling and caramel coloured. Take off heat and stir in oats,fruit and Ginger if using. Pour into baking pan and press flat with wooden spoon.

    Bake 40 to 45 mins leave to cool in pan for 15 mins cut in to portions then leave in tray until completly cool then lift all out.

Sometimes the doctors don't understand how specific an allergy can get. Her pediatrician sent her to a heart specialist thinking it was a heart condition, but thankfully it was not.
