There's an airshow going on in Milwaukee here. The Airforce and Navy have some planes. I live in between the airport and where the show is taking placing. Six F-16 fighter jets flew over about 400 feet above my house. It gave everyone over goosebumps. My opinion my tax dollars pay for those jets and would give more. These guys are incredible.

I wish I could describe to you guys how cool it was to see that. And they flew over several times. You know say what you want about the leadership and whatnot, these guys and by that I mean all armed forces just impress me everyday.

Occasional jets, but what will always stickw tih me was seeing a C-5 helicopter once. That suck was BIG! Helicopters just aren't supposed to be that big, dangit! lol

I have loved air crafts ever since and I am lucky enough to live in a neighborhood that is directly under and airflight path from Los Alamitos.
    I am lucky enough to have C-5 Galaxy's, C-130, H-60's , H-1 (Huey),H-46 or H-47 ( I forget wich..lol)
F-16, F-18, Harrier's and Cobra's fly over our house at any given time each day. I am one LUCKY LADY!

One time the flew over a Mariner's game when my kids were there. They thought that was really awesome.

I was going to take the kids to see the show this year but I don't think I'll be recovered enough to park miles away and deal with the crowds and stand for hours at a time. :-(

I felt kinda bad that we take them for granted here; we work on/live near a Navy base, so I see and hear them every single day. Most of my friends work for F-A/18, in fact.

They're definitely cool, though, and I'm very proud of and grateful for our armed forces.

I just noticed I wrote "I don't think I'll be recovered" in my first post. Be recovered? Like a sofa? Haha.
