We overheard a CM talking about some kids in another boat that tried to get out of their log, which is why the ride was e-stopped. Very annoying, but it was interesting to see the house lights on in what is usually a dark area of the ride.

To my surprise, in the next OmniMover from mine were master voice over actor Paul Frees sitting with former Melloman and voice over actor Thurl Ravenscroft. 'Mr. Frees! Mr. Revenscroft!' I shouted, 'how ironic that you're both sitting here!' 'And advantageous as well?' Frees said in his best Snidely Whiplash voice. 'You're a mean one Mr. Frees,' Ravenscroft joked in his best bass, 'But I'll do it.' 'Do what?' I asked 'What do you mean?' At that point, the Cast Member had reached our Omnimover, and I walked along the the evacuation route on 'behind' the Omnimovers. As we reached each scene Mr. Frees added the narration that we would have heard if our OmniMover had not broken down. Then, when we reached the busts in the graveyard, we were treated to an impromptu live performance of 'Grim Grinning Ghosts' sung by Mr. Ravenscroft. At this point, other guests had stopped to listen, and as he got to the 'when you hear the knell of requium bell' we were all clapping and singing along. When he was finished, we all cheered and applauded, and Mr. Frees finished with the 'and a ghost will follow you home' spiel and a huge ghost host laugh. The crowd went nuts. After finally making it to the exit, we blinked into the sunlight, and all headed over to 'The Hungry Bear' for tasteless burgers and overdone french fries. 'My treat!' shouted Mr. Frees. Ravenscroft and Frees sat with about two dozen guests and told stories about Disneyland and working in the voice over industry. It was an experience I'll never forget.
