Each show was a little different as cast members rotated shows. But the performances never disappointed. This is one thing that Disney has done right. It should increase traffic at DCA as more and more Drum Corp International fans find out that Blast is performing.

For what it's worth, a new version of Blast! is currently in development in Japan, based entirely on Disney music: blast the music of Disney/ブラスト!:ミュージック・オブ・ディズニー(ブラストミュージックオブディズニー) | フジテレビダイレクト[演劇 パフォーマンスのチケット購入・予約] I don't read Japanese, so I'm not clear on the details (I think this is just the site to buy tickets, regardless), but it's my understanding that this is potentially being done as a trial to see if other producers from around the world might be interested in mounting their own productions. @Mr. X , you may be interested in checking this out, if you have a chance. Seems like it would be right up your alley! (And yes, I realize this has got to be one of the oldest thread bumps of all time. But it seemed appropriate)
I would take The Power of Blast over more Frozen any day. I miss that show. It was band geek heaven. Notice how no one screamed when that show got replaced by Aladdin.
I think part of the reason there was no "outrage" over replacing The Power of Blast! is because everybody realized that it was a temporary show, only intended to last a year or two. At that point in time, Disney did a great job of constantly refreshing entertainment, so nothing ever ran for very long, even if it was well received. We've seen similar reactions when other long-running shows get cancelled, like Billy Hill & The Hillbillies in DL and Off Kilter in Epcot (which people are still upset about) Heaven help us if Disney ever decides to replace some of the shows in the Studios in WDW that have been running for 25+ years. They're dated as heck, but I'm sure they have their loyal fans who think that they should be permanent theme park fixtures for eternity From my understanding Blast! had a pretty loyal fanbase at DCA, but they weren't as vocal as the others. I'm still disappointed that I never got a chance to see the show in the park in person (though I did see the National Tour), either in Epcot or at DCA
