    We spent the day with Rod's mom which was fun yet interesting. She is doing really well for 84 and kept trying to help with dinner (which Rod had told her he was bringing). All of our kids were busy and it was really nice at her quiet little house. I love big family dinners but this was good for a change.

We went to church, I was treated to brunch at Souplantation (our favorite), and we went to the beach, where we walked and laid out for a while til we got sick of the WIND! But it was a lovely day. And I called my mommy on the phone :)
