It's my favorite ride at Epcot just they need to make that section longer, it goes by so fast that you barely get to let out 1 good scream. I like the premise of this version so Iii'm afraid that lovers of this ride will make this ride be a BIG BOMB!

I doubt they would want to change it to something that would cover the sponsorship, especially since it's popular the way it is. Also, there is going to be a Cars ride built in a new Cars themed land in California Adventure, using the Test Track technology. This may be where somebody got the information mixed around. It is supposed to have two interlocking tracks that have portions inside a show building themed to look like a rock mesa, and then there is supposed to be an extended racing portion outside, where the two tracks are next to eachother, and move at high speeds, like the outside part of TT.

I don't think anybody would care much if it was a cars overlay or not ('cept dsnykid ), might even make it more popular.

Yeah, great idea...

I've actually always thought that too - I don't know why, in FUTURE WORLD, we are testing cars that are almost exactly like ones we can already drive today. They should at least have them be electric cars or something - at least that would be somewhat futuristic. And for goodness sakes, can we please get some theming in that ride. I hate coming down that first hill and seeing this huge, empty warehouse space. It just makes me so sad when I remember that it used to all be filled-up with the amazing show scenes of the World of Motion. What a waste of a good space...
