Also, they said there is a cafeteria there for lunch, how are the prices and what type of food is available? After traditions what is the next step? I am assuming you will get a tour of the park you will be working in. How long is actual job training? How do pay raises work? Do CMs get a raise after 3 months? And then how often do you get raises. And how much is the raise generally? Anything you can tell me about being a new CM would be appreciated . Thanks!

Traditions is an 8 hour class at disney university with three breaks. You will get your temp ID and your nametag. You will go through the history of the company and then all the other stuff that follows...how to look, talk, what disney means, ect. At the end of it you will meet someone from your department, they will give you your initial schedule. Your first day is going to be a tour of animal kingdom, backstage, all the attractions, wardrobe, ect. Then you will get the rest of your training schedule. raises vary but are usually once per year and are based on a percentage. if you are part-time you will be able to transfer to another position in 3 months and full-time is 6 months. Your training will be five days after your animal kingdom orientation day. Also, you will get your real id with your photo after 90 days. The first 90 days is your probation period. Any other questions, please feel free to ask.
