I have been known to put thousands of dollars on the credit cards for a last minute trip to Anaheim....so to save my card balance, I have to limit my exposure to talk sites !

The good news is that we are coming out again this may (third year in a row) and we are all fired up. I envy those of you who are within 1-days driving distance of Anaheim. We live in Kansas City and it really is a treat for us to go to California and spend time at the park(s).

Some of you die-hards may remember that last trip I posted about a terrible experience my family had at the Autopia last year...When the CM yelled at my 7-year old (I won't rehash it again)

Most of our friends think we are weird...they go on cruises, skiing, carribean, Europe, etc..on their vacations. We always end up in Anaheim :)

Anywho, I am glad to be back chatting with you all again, you have me until about June when I once again have to restrict myself access to everything Disneyland

When I was traveling with my job, I used to take park soundtracks and photo books on the road with me. They're nice, but certainly not the same!

Hope you will be able take a little time to meet up with some of the LP community while you are out here.

But next year we are bringing my inlaws and my parents. I think my husband wants to prove to them how much fun DL really is, since they never gone there. My parents have been going for 50 years, so they got me hooked!

(no arm-twisting to get me to chaperone!)

    Have fun!

I hope you have a wonderful time. In all my trips I have only had a coulple of run-ins with rude CM's so the odds are your trip will be very goodºoº

It's a different fun than when I'm planning a trip, but when the pictures and talk are all I have, it's better than nothing.

My family has friends in Idaho who come down once a year and they are glued to LP leading up to their trips. Thanks to all LPers who have written in here. Its great stuff.

Each time we go to DL, we are in amazement of the people lucky enough to go to the parks at a whim. It's a full blown, expensive vacation for us !

I've been lucky enough to go five times in the past 10 years, but it's still not nearly enough. I'm ALWAYS thinking of my next trip - even when it's a long, long time away (at the moment I'm setting aside money for my 2009 trip!) I do find that having the LP can give me a bit of a Disney 'fix' when I don't have a trip coming up.

There are many dedicated LPers and this site is just a wonderful place.
