Also can someone confirm for me how many the DDE card is valid for?I think it's 6. If it's less that the total of your party how would that work in terms of discounting meal where the entire party are eating?

( and I will be using mine next week for party of 8, like last year)

want to see it pay for itself -- we are going to Hoop De Doo .. and for 8 people ( 2 kids) - it is like $530 -- so the discount ( late show only for HDDMR and Luau) - is over $100 -- card paid for itself + $35 and we are they for 10 days !

Will likely save enough to cover my AP --

I have never had more than 10 at one time to pay for so I don't know the answer for sure to the other -

That being said I'm thinking with 9 of us it will probably make the money for us just at the California Grill...

All I need to do now is confirm to myself that I get enough additional benefits from the AP to make it worthwhile, I can get a UK ultimate ticket for £150 ($300) which is good for a fortnight of access to all of the parks, and the standard pass would not include the additional parks (this isn't necessarily a problem as I have some old tickets with extras days on them that I can use for that purpose). The AP is going to cost me $462 plus the additional $64 for the DDE, so I need to be getting an addition $226 out of both the DDE and the AP to make it worthwhile, as I'm not likely to be back within the 12 months, remembering that I'm then going to have to use additional days from the old passes for the water parks and Disney Quest.... *Sigh* Can someone please do the thinking for me and let me know what I should buy lol!!

My family is small (4) and yet 3 years ago I saved almost $300 ( after deducating card price) with the card. Now we eat 2 sit downs a day for our 8-10 day trips --

My youngest is now 13 so after 9 years old all adult food prices.

For lunch you can spend $8/$10 for an sandwhich type entree then tack on a soda and you are $11/$13 each --

At a nice sit down-- Le Cellier/ Brown Derby/ or a character buffet - you are closer to $20/head --

Dinner is more expensive-- so it really depends where and what one eats...

for my family of 4 the card pays for itself and at least 1/2 my AP -- when we travel with my Sister and her family it pays for itself, my AP and another meal.

Very true - in 2005 I got my first DDE and it paid for itself and then some ($50 at the time) in a matter of 4 days.
