Butterflies on Rivers of America

Aside from the usual Monarch, Palos Verdes Blue and Cabbage Whites and Sulfurs, lovely but common, I saw a very large Yellow swallow tail and a couple Mourning Cloaks, a butterfly I've read is common in Southern California but I've never seen one.
