He took on responsibility of caregiver during my recovery/re-hab and never complained. (I'm a horrible patient.) I don't know what I would have done without him, and I thank God for him everyday.

I think he was a bit shocked when I told him the truth but we got on quite well. He liked the same music and such as me. Once in a while he would say or do something that made me realize he was a bit immature. All in all, it was great except I could never have a full time commitment with a smoker which he was. My husband and I are the same age and we agree on and remember the same things. That is good.

In my brain, it's just unnatural for the man to be younger than the woman (no offense, Ginny!). Anyhow, for oldest - let's see, I was born 18 April and the man I lived with for about 5 or 6 years in my early 20s (we got together) was born May 7. Oh, yeah, that May 7 was long enough before my April 18 that he got his driver's license shortly after I was born. (i.e., 16 year diff is the longest for me) John & I were very comfortable together, and honestly, I think he helped me become the person I am today since I was so darned young when we got together (I was 20, he was 36). Anyhow, I'm happy to say that the best thing about him is that he's Eric's & my best friend. He's just THAT cool.
