Originally Posted By WorldDisney Yeah, that's pretty common in most of Asia actually, but its changing. When I first taught in Korea, we all taught 6 days, M-F and half day on Saturday usually. I just finished teaching at an international school a few months ago and it was only 5 days a week now. But, as these countries become more westernized, they seem to be easing up on those standards.

Not to mention sometimes working 14-17 hour days, often until 3 in the morning, or worse, having to show up at 4 in the morning! Or, how about having a job where, despite 2 days off per week (slightly better than above), you have similar hours sometimes AND no vacation EVER for 5 full years. Bet ya never knew that Tokyo Disney was a sweatshop!
