SoCal Annual Pass - proof?

    But what if you buy it online? Is it enough that they send the tickets to a socal address? or do you need to show id at the entrance? Or do they wait to ask when you're actually processing the ap?

That is when they would ask you for proof of residence. Only then would you be given a ticket (and then you would go to the AP processing center.)

    trekkeruss is mostly right. They give you a one day ticket to print out and it gets you into the park. You don't need to go to the ticket window first. You take it to the turnstile and they give you a smaller ticket that you need to take to the Passport Processing Center inside Disneyland so they can get you a card and take your picture. They will ask you for a photo ID. I just showed my driver's licence since it has my address.

    It's pretty easy.

    Haha. No prob! Just wanted to stop someone from waiting in the long ticket window line when they didn't have to. They're a pain in the butt when all you want to do is get in the park!

    I do know from my son's recent experience, that you are suppose to go to DMV and change your address within 30 days of moving. You should be able to walk into the DMV and get the proof you would need quite easily.

    I saw some woman blowing a gasket and having a major fit this past January because they wouldn't allow her to activate SoCal passes because she didn't have proof she lived in so cal. They wouldn't budge on the issue either, and there were about 6 of them in their party wanting to activate. The person that bought it for them lived in socal, but not them so Disney wouldn't budge. Also the person who bought it for them wasn't with them so they were really stuck. She was freaking out over them 'keeping several thousands of their dollars' but them not having any recourse. I suppose if the person who bought it was with them then they could've simply upgraded to a deluxe, but since they weren't there, they were SOL.
