Wouldn't be much of a story if some evil human aspect wasn't introduced would it? I suppose it is possible that she just twisted her knee while getting off the truck but that would be boring. Anyway it is way to much attention being drawn to a minor incident. Things like this happen, mechanical things fail and as mechanical failures go this one is pretty small and inconsequential. The biggest thing about it is that a group of people will be able to go home and tell the story of what happened to them on the safari and how they were almost eaten by the lions.
