Since we are not from Florida we are not sure which Hotels are the best. We usually stay at Drury Inn when we travel but they do not have one in Orlando. We are wanting to stay under $100 a night so if you know some hotels that are good and in a safe area I would appreciate the recommendations. Thanks!

You can stay on property for under $100.00 a night and can survive without a rental car if you don't plan on going to Universal or Sea World to save a little extra money. From my experience staying off property can be a huge pain but wait and see what other people have to say. Im sure you will get some good advise here. Good luck!!!!!!

As mentioned before you can get accommodations on site for less than $100. per night but then you have meals and you are kind of captive once you are on site. Route 192 has a vast variety of places to eat, flea markets, grocery stores, Wal-mart and more. Your choice but either way it will be fun. I always rent a car anyway so that would never be a savings for me.

We found a Comfort Inn that has a suite outside the park for $80 a night that we all can stay in together and I have not seen this good of a deal inside the park if there is one I would appreciate it if you could let me know which one it is. When we looked up the prices on the WDW site it quoted us a price of around $2500 for 4 nights plus tickets and that is more than $100 a night because the tickets are only $30 per the WDW site. Any help would be very much appreciated as we are trying to keep the expenses down. Thanks!

I'm not sure what the rate is for a suite but I'm sure someone here can assist you with that info. I'd contact WDW reservations and get the rates on one of those suites at one of the All Star resorts.

Yes.. Universal's Hard Rock and Royal Pacific Hotels are nice. So is the Peabody, and newly opened Rosen resort (I believe that is the name of it..) off International Drive. Hyatt Regency behind DTD is a great choice. A bit out of the way, still two of the best hotels in town are the Ritz and JW Marriott, a few mins away from Sea World.

After that, then some of the locations at WDW... like the Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge. I can't recommend anything else below that.

But "off property" stays can be a real drag and saddle you and your party with annoyances and hassles that "on property" guests would not see-- especially if you and your party are novice when it come to a WDW vacation.

If at all possible stay "on property" at an All Star or Pop Century for under 100 per night per room. Disney is advertising from $79.

Trust me, you will be glad you did-- because aside from the practicality and location logistics staying on property lets you and your party bask in the Disney experience--- well worth the extra money spent. Everyone in the party gets extra Magic Hours and you can zip around the property in your own car and get free parking at every park. And since parking is $11(I am adding $1 anticipating more price increases by Oct.). that could save you a bit after a few days of touring.

Either that, or if you MUST stay under $100 per night, see if you can get a good deal on a vacation home OR if you can find some really scary place where you'd not feel safe for under $100 for two rooms for one night.

    Use Priceline.com.

You can get 2 1/2 star places like AmeriSuites and Hampton Inn in LBV for $36 a night ... 3 stars like Sheraton Safari across from DD and BW in DD for $45-50 a night ... resorts like DD Hilton for $60 per night etc ...

If you're looking to save $$$ and NOT stay at a dump, this is your best bet.

Check out biddingfortravel.com for tips and info on what's been coming up in O-Town.
