I expect this to look cool at night with flames rising and water backlit ! TOT .... WOW ..... that building really looks cool ! The details are coming around ! OLC isn't afraid to put the money out !

It will likely look "good as new" for some time to come.

The late 1930's are prevalent in both. The Hightower Trust might be the collectors connected to the New York Hotel. I love those little details. They add to the overall story of the parks.

Could that have been keen foresight for a tie in with Tower's story?

I'm just not sure how much different the experience could really be? If it was in a show building with bigger effects and special features, then maybe. Eitherway, I'll be riding it though . Also TOT looks freaking HUGE!!! I can't belive how much bigger it's gotten since I last seen it. WOW!!!!

Well, TDS does have other "filler" attractions, like Flounders Flying Fish Coaster and the like, so this addition to Lost River Delta rounds it out nicely. Why can't a park add some "fillers"? It's not like it's tho only thing going in...Tower of Terror should be a big E-ticket draw.
Originally Posted By leemac <<Not sure how deep they dug at TDS>> Virtually nothing compared to DCA but the close proximity to the Bay is a factor. Therefore ToT is taller at TDS above ground level. Roger, you are right about the scaffolding. As it is built out significantly, it makes the building look much "fatter".
