I suggest going to Libby Lu in DTD, it's $25 for the hair, and they get a little VIP (Very important Princess) kit.

Meeting the Princesses, watching the story telling, and the coronation ceremony is just as much fun, and it's all free. They even have a spot for coloring if you ahve any boys or older kids. And during the coronation, the kids learn to dance like Princes and Princesses.

Will have to check out the Libby Lu for sure in DTD.
Do you know of the times of the shows or storey telling or they just do them all day long?

All 4 events are held multiple times during the day, as mentioned before, the times do change, so just pick up the Times Guide when you arrive to find out the current schedule.

The Royal Walk is basically the changing of the Princesses for breaks, and happens about every 30 to 45 minutes, and is not really on a set schedule.

There is a sign listing the hours for that day's stories and shows. They happen about once or twice an hour. I highly recommend Belle's storytime. She is a great storyteller (all her practice from telling the Beast stories has paid off).

Anticipate standing on line 45-60 minutes on a slow day, and up to 3 hours on a busy day. If you are up there and see that only the first line is filled up, jump in the line quickly as then it is only about a 30 minute wait.

Go during the parade for the shortest wait. First thing in the morning will be your longest wait. Mid-afternoon seems to be about the best time to wait. The end of the time they push people through pretty quickly.

We'll be at Disney in early May. Hope to see you there.

I really recommend Ariel's grotto in DCA because you get five inclding Ariel and you dont have to stay in line and you get to eat too I mean you can't beat that.

My other gripe is the lack of entertainment for the princesses waiting on lines that are often 90 minutes. This was brought home to me when we had a pirate regale us on the five minute boat ride to Tom Sawyer's Island, yet not a single juggler or jester at the PFF. Disney knows the girls will stand in line no matter what to see the princesses.

Unfortunately Disney is showing no signs of returning to life before the fantasy faire.
