Perhaps Disney finally feels that, after 12 years, DCA is finally a strong enough park that it can attract people to come visit, without offering any sort of off-season special.

Given that it's the first spring that the expanded park has been open, this would be the time to test the waters on not doing discounts.

The off-season deals for Disneyland tickets are quite stingy and very short now.

Imagine that?! They have two popular and successful theme parks that stay busy by charging customers full fare even outside of traditional vacation times, so they don't need to offer big winter or spring discounts anymore! That's Capitalism for you. :)

Imagine, they are actually charging full fare to enter and lots of customers are actually paying that price up front without gimmicks. At DCA?! Whodathunkit!

I wonder what Barry Braverman and Paul Pressler think of the place now? Something tells me they try not to think about it.

Those of us that understood that phase 1 was, well, phase 1, and that DCA was going to follow the MGM model most closely, and knowing that they poured more money into that park's ten year plan than they did on its opening, just didn't freak out too much at phase 1. It had some serious flaws along with some really fine stuff; a real next bag. And although they've jettisoned some of the more adult-leaning stuff from phase 1 that I quite liked, they've also fixed some of the flaws and added some great things.

Right? The continued Pressler obsession is kind of strange.
