In short - I enjoyed this show more than any of the recent castle forecourt stage shows. It was a typical Good Versus Evil storyline but bringing together all of the SFXs (water, fire, lighting, projections and fireworks) into one show works. I wish they would change up this formula but guests seem to still enjoy it.

It certainly does seem to borrow quite a bite from Fantasmic!, in terms of story, music, and effects. At first I thought that this would appear as just a knockoff, until I remembered that the vast majority of guests have probably never seen F!, so it's all new to them.

I still hate that massive useless stage but at least they mixed it up for this one and didn't just rely on the BON holidays or a nighttime water show. I still shudder at the thought of that awful Bonfire Dance show at TDS.

We had a great spot on the premiere night but the new expanded lottery seating area will make it very hard for losers (in the lottery sense only!) to see these shows which is a mistake IMO.

The show looks alright, although I thought last years Pirate theme show looked better.
