And you can walk right into the park. BWPPI is actually closer to the park than the resort hotels (unless you enter DCA from GCH)

Mostly for location, right across the street.

We stayed in the mini suite which has 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed that is a double size. Also includes a microave and fridge. No problems with hot water or bugs or smells.

We usually stay for 6-7 nights so we do laundry while we are there at least once and one time it was quite a wait for the laundry (only 2 washers and 2 dryers total) but we usually set aside a day to just do laundry and lounge at the pool and since they are right next to eachother it worked out well.

The continental breakfast is fine, much better than the Tropicana's anyway.

The pool is smallish but the kids love it and the hot tub is also small but we enjoyed it.

Staff are friendly and we have checked in early a couple of times without trouble.

    Good Luck!

We just had a regular two bed room on the first floor by the pool. It was on the weekend, but it was clean and pretty quiet for being on the bottom floor so close to the pool. The T.V. reception was horrible, but we don't really watch T.V. when we are so close to Disneyland anyway:) The bathroom was old and small and needs to be refurbished (at least the one in our room) but even though is was old, it was clean and functional enough for our family of 4. We had the breakfast buffet at Captian Kidds...IMHO it wasn't very good and I thought it was kinda expensive for what we got. I would try Denny's or IHOP if we stayed there again. When we checked out on Sunday morning they let us keep our car parked there instead of having to drive to the garage on Disneyland property, which I thought was pretty generous considering it didn't look like they had a whole lot of extra parking. The staff was very nice too. All in all it was a pretty good stay for the price and location...at least for us:)

I actually liked the breakfast, it was nice to have cereal and a bagel with a piece of fruit for breakfast.

Don't worry, you've made a good choice, enjoy your trip.

At DLR, I enjoy properties ranging from Park Place Inn, HoJo's, etc. to the Grand. Each of them has their pluses.

I am a firm believer that mindset and attitude are HUGE when it comes to vacation.

I had a free stay in the honeymoon suite at the Kauai Sheraton and didn't enjoy it because I was 2 months pregnant and sick as a dog. (Free trip won in a bridal faire. We went for our 6 mo. anniversary. Didn't waste any time starting a family, lol)

And I've stayed at some real dives and had the time of my life, simply because I was where I was.

Whenever I recommend something on the boards, I cross my fingers, toes, eyes and anything else that will cross that the person doesn't curse me if they took my recommendation!
