I mean Disneyland normally gets 40-50,000 people on busy days, right? But maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part...

We will see how many people will head over to Disneyland, on Thursday Disneyland closes at 8:00 so they probably wont have a chance since the convention is over at 11:00 pm the last event being at 10:00 the remainder of those days most of the D23 crowd will have but a hour or two to head over so the crowds should be alright.
