Because a crazy woman, who turned out to be a man when he took off his blonde Alice In Wonderland wig, climbed up on the top of the Disneyland Resort marquee that leads into the Timon lot off of Harbor Blvd. The woman/man began smoking a cigar and telling passersby walking below that he was going to jump. Nevermind that the 15 foot drop to the road below would only break a leg instead of end a life. But APD had to respond naturally, and since she/he was threatening to potentially end his life just as soon as she/he finished his/her cigar, all of Harbor Blvd. at that busy intersection was closed. The Anaheim Fire Department eventually got him down with a ladder with the police department's help. There was also a small contingent of Disneyland managers and Parking Lot CM's out there directing traffic and helping with crowd control. And if you've ever been to a Cast Member Halloween party, you wouldn't believe what some resourceful CM's can do with costume pieces checked out to them from Disneyland Costuming! I'd take pictures and share, but this is a family site.

She and some friends were going to the Park for Halloween As they were crossing Harbor Blvd., going into the Timon lot drive she spotted "someone" climbing onto the Disneyland marquee sign. She notified the mystified CM at the toll gate, who then radioed Disneyland security about the problem!! I guess that Halloween really bring the weird one's out!!!
