December 1st – December 17th - December 17th is when the crowds really pick up and get heavier as the days go by until January 1st. (this is based on 2009, but many say that Annual Passholders have gone up in numbers so Saturdays that are blocked are less busy than they used to be.)
Originally Posted By fkurucz In my experience crowds can be just as bad in the fall as summer, expecially October. I think that once it starts to hget "cold" the locals aren't as predominant with their cheapo APs. We used to go in the Fall, but now go in the summer instead.

About 15 years ago my brother came to visit us with his family on Thanksgiving (We lived in San Diego at the time). We went to DL on Thanksgiving Day. That had to be the most crowded day I ever spent at DL. By far. But I could see how now the locals would stay away if their cheapo APs are blocked. So now we need to plan our trips around SoCal AP blackouts!
