A look at the area of the Grand Californian Hotel where Disney has filed for Building Permits to remove some parts of the south wing, and to build a 1,800 sq. foot Model room. And more, including some duck photos

I like the new Disney names; they aren't exactly unique in the Disney empire, but they sure make a lot more sense than what had been there for 30 years cosidering it is the DISNEYLAND Hotel. Every cheesy Best Western, Hilton and Holiday Inn from Santa Barbara to San Diego has a "Coronado Room" or "Catalina Room" or "Marina Snack Bar". Kudos to Disney for finally playing up the Disneyland angle at their oldest hotel.
