Just a brief piece of history - BEFORE Disney purchased this hotel, it was visited by a lot of tourists from Japan since it was owned and operated by a Japanese company (it was originally known as the Emerald Hotel, then it became the Pan Pacific Hotel). Both the PCH Grill and Yamabuki's (now closed) catered a lot to the Japanese clients - so at the buffet breakfast, there were a number of Japanese Breakfast items like Seaweed Soup, Rice, and a number of other things that you would not find at an American Breakfast Buffet.
