But instead of harping on the cheese factor of the imagineer's belief that a video of wispy hand moving in slow motion is somehow "scary", I would like to comment on Disneyland's apparent desire to make watching a flat television screen some sort of acceptable thrilling experience. 1. Finding Nemo Subs: Watch television underwater! 2. Sleeping Beauty Castle: Watch television thru a window, IN A CASTLE! 3. Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy: Watch Television of a hand on a roller coaster. It's cheap, it's unimaginative and it's been WAY overdone. It also cuts down on repeatability for me. Stop "upgrading" rides with television screens. I have several at home if I want to watch them. Your pal, Crazy Croc

And watching tv for the last half of Spaceship Earth is a bit of a letdown.

And, call me odd, but rode Nemo Subs for the first time last week and I actually really liked it. Would I wait for an hour or more for it, no. But we waited about 25 minutes and found it to be much better than some here have made it out to be.

Most of the attractions are such high quality, we all get numb to the fact that they are high quality. There's no real cheap ride to compare to. If Nemo were at Legoland, for example, guests would be in awe and would have no problem waiting in line for an hour. Instead, at Legoland, on busier days, we would have no problems waiting an hour for Skipper School (think a boat version of autopia). Or that Land of Adventure ride (think a cheap version of Superstar Limo with guns and you shoot lego mummies - wait, we might have something). Or a generic spinner ride that can't even fit adults! On top of that, the capacity for the rides are so low, the queue hardly moves. Yes, we are spoiled.
