The overall experience of the two approaches night and day.

I'm not doubting that the track layouts are identical, it's just a testament to how different the two attractions feel from each other. Dinosaur is much more bland when compared to Indy. Also, quite a bit of Dinosaur is in the dark with minimal sets and effects...Indy on the other hand...

" Well, Indy seems more bumpy, but even it got toned down somewhat. I agree with what Trekkerus said, sit in the middle! You'll be less likely to feel sick there.

As for the ride Dinosaur is dark, very dark indeed punctuated with less than Disney's best AA's. IJ is full of wonderful and very large scale show scenes and dazzles guests with pyrotechnics, solid thematic music/score and a more compelling story.

You might find the park a bit smaller than you expected, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in charm and attractions. I was just there over Christmas and had a blast!

Also I second the sitting in the middle -- same goes for Star Tours if you have motion issues -- side middle of the front row-- takes at least 50% of the motion out -- worst place - back corner
Originally Posted By elene I also find Dinosaur very scary (loud and dark) and don't ride it but I will ride Indiana Jones. The bumpiest area are the end seats in the 3rd row. Keep away from those and it isn't too bad. The middle seats in the 2nd row are definitely the calmest.
