As for fast food places, I've had KFC, Popeyes, and Roy Rogers. They all seem tasty enough, but none I would say are phenomenal in any way. I like to make "karage" at home; Japanese-style fried chicken.

The chicken was absolutely excellent and the dinners there were served all-you-can-eat family-style with the usual side dishes (soup, salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies, etc.) I lived in Flint, MI for a number of years growing up and we made pretty frequent trips up to Frankenmuth for meals, including making it our annual Christmas Day tradition. Looking it up online, it does appear that the restaurants are still there and still have the same menu. I wonder if it is still as good... -Jeff
